Easter is just days away, and frankly I’m excited about it. Normally I’m neither here nor there when it comes to the holiday- sad I know. I think the corniness of it and the dumbing down of the gospel over the span of my life really sucked the joy out of it. But thankful over time and through growth, my heart has been made anew. I cannot wait to decorate me some eggs! I was searching for some creative and fresh ideas, and here are some that really stood out to me:
How freaking gorgeous are these Polish eggs???
These neon decorated Easter eggs remind me of the 60’s! They are really neat looking and easy to make. Just visit oh joy! for the tutorial on these beauties.
Want to skip all of the frill and decorate your eggs to look natural and muted? Check out B nature for the tutorial.
HOW FANTASTIC! I wish I had the patience and hand coordination to do this. I would probably destroy the poor eggs. Think you can do this? If so head on over to Design Sponge and get that thread and needle out!
I think this is my favorite out of all of them…. silk dyed eggs!!! Just take your man’s old ties or head over to the thrift store and clean them out and then follow this tutorial over at Our Best Bites! I think I’m actually going to do this.
Don’t have the creativity or the time for all of this do it yourself egg dying? Run down to the store and grab you a PAAS coloring kit. Throw the tablets in some vinegar or water, and watch those white eggs transform into pretty colors. You could even get a little wild and take an egg out of one color and put it in the other. Craziness!
