The Blanton Wedding: Peach in the Fall

If there is anything to be thankful for right now (and the list is very long ) it’s that I have good friends.

Nick and Camillia got married on November 10th in Daniel’s parent’s backyard. It was an intimate affair with only a few friends, and the weather could not have been more perfect.

It was quite possibly one of the sweetest weddings I’ve ever had the honor of being a part of. And, truthfully, I’m kind of starting to lose count. It’s like once you hit your mid 20’s, you might as well plan on going to at least one wedding a month. But this one was good for the heart.

Everyone…

WE HAVE A COMPUTER!

I wanna say it’s been over 3 months since we have had a working computer in our home. It really wasn’t at all that bad. The only thing it kept me from was blogging. Other than that, we used our phones for whatever we needed to look up. We can successfully live without a computer and be happy, but it is nice to have one again. With the new role I have at COTW, and Daniel and I wanted to record an album, it’s kinda important we have one. We ended up finding quite an awesome deal! We stumbled upon a used Mac for only $899, and with trading in some of our old computers, we got a decent amount of store credit.

So, you’ll be seeing a lot more of me now. Oh! I also don’t work at SpeedySigns.com anymore. That, of course, gives me more time to spend with you!

Here are some pictures we’ve taken recently around the house and at the playground with Abe.

A Long Weekend

This weekend was full of family time. We ate lots of s’mores, and Daniel built me some new lighting for pictures. Unfortunately, we could not spend our Memorial Day at the beach like we had planned, thanks to Tropical Storm Beryl. We did however have an impromptu hang out/cook out with our friends later that evening. It was a nice time enjoying burgers, banana pudding and watching all the kids play. All of the rain really helped my sunflower sprouts to shoot up, and this morning I found that my pepper plants are finally sprouting. Overall, the weekend was a success. Now it’s time to enjoy each night at home with no plans or places to go. No Commitments Stay-cation day 2!
