A Long Weekend

This weekend was full of family time. We ate lots of s’mores, and Daniel built me some new lighting for pictures. Unfortunately, we could not spend our Memorial Day at the beach like we had planned, thanks to Tropical Storm Beryl. We did however have an impromptu hang out/cook out with our friends later that evening. It was a nice time enjoying burgers, banana pudding and watching all the kids play. All of the rain really helped my sunflower sprouts to shoot up, and this morning I found that my pepper plants are finally sprouting. Overall, the weekend was a success. Now it’s time to enjoy each night at home with no plans or places to go. No Commitments Stay-cation day 2!

Week Review: Not So Bad

I know at the beginning of the week I mentally prepared myself to intentionally not get stressed. It turned out not to be that bad at all! I got so much done on Monday and Tuesday, that the rest of the week kinda just came together. There were some hiccups, not gonna lie. Yesterday our power went out for almost three hours, and Abram had a melt down. But all in all, I think it was a success! I could barely get my head on the pillow before I was asleep every night.

Weekly Recap

Hope ya’lls week was nice. I know mine was. It involved a house work, a bachelorette dinner, Abram’s first hose etravaganza, me locking the keys in the house twice and having to jump the fence and break in, family times, an attempted fort and lots of creativity. A few bumps here and there but overall a success I would say!

Have a great weekend!
